How to buy a website online
April 30th, 2012
When you buy a website, make sure that it has a lot of text content rich with keywords that apply to the products or services you will be selling or promoting. You want it to have a professional look and feel, but you don’t need it to be too flashy.
Buying a website can have advantages over building one. It just depends whether you have the knowledge or resources to do so. When you are looking to buy a website, make sure it's a complete solution. Some advantages of buying a website are it could be already producing income, ranking for certain keywords or just plain save you a lot of time.
Once you have bought a website, promoting your website will be the key to it’s success along with the content that is in your website. Those are the things you will focus on if you wish to have a successful online business. This is where the work starts. This is what will demand the most of your time, because if you do not promote your website, the customers will never come your website. They won’t be able to find you out of the millions of websites that are out there.
There are several things you will be doing with your new website. First and foremost, you will be writing articles like this one about the products and services you sell and topics related to them. You will also spend time submitting these articles to websites that offer free content to webmasters.
A lot of website owners are hungry for good original content. They go to these content providers and pull articles related to their products and services and put those articles into their websites. Since your article, like the one I am writing here, has an author bio section at the bottom with links to your website, every website owner that inserts your article into their website is now another website that links to you.
That increases your link popularity, which in turn helps you get better listings in search engine results for your keywords. Writing at least one article everyday will move you up in the search engine rankings before you know it. This is my fourth article for the day, just to give you an idea of how much I’m willing to promote my website.
You can also post a lot on blogs and forums that are related to your products or services. In the signature line you put a link to your website. In this subtle way you not only create another website that has a link to your website, but by participating in the forum or blog you may just have users there want to see your website and might want to buy your product or services.
Just remember that when you buy a website, make sure to pick a niche that you are interested in as well as finding a seller that will provide additional information to help you along the way.
What does it take to be successful with a Turnkey Niche Website?
July 22nd, 2011
This is a question that comes up a lot and it has, of course, made me really think about the answer. Sometimes when you have achieved success in something you forget exactly how you reached that point, so I’ve decided to put my thoughts down as to what I think you need to be successful with a turnkey niche website.
The Right Mindset
If you’re starting out as a complete newbie in the online arena, at some point you might become frustrated, so to compensate you need to have a positive attitude. It’s so important to believe in yourself and have faith that you too can learn the skills necessary to do this. It’s key, that you need to be in the learning mindset to succeed. Even though you might be using a turnkey niche website there will still be things to learn. Do not listen to those who try and put you down or tell you that what your trying to do won’t work or there is too much competition.
Patience is Key
Although building a website is relatively quick and using a turnkey niche website is even quicker, the process of gaining traffic to it takes time and a consistent effort. Don’t expect to be flooded with visitors the day after you have your website up or for it to rank Number 1 on Google for your chosen term within a week. Getting your website ranked well in the Search Engines takes work and patience, but the rewards can last for years.
Perfection is not Necessary
Don’t waste your time fussing over the ‘little things’ and making sure everything is perfect before you begin promoting your turnkey niche website! The things you should be spending time on is getting traffic to your website – without traffic, NOTHING ELSE MATTERS. So there’s a tiny spelling mistake, a product photo isn’t the best, a product you sell is out of stock with the suppliers - all that is irrelevant unless you have people visiting your website!
Consistency, Consistency, Consistency
When your website is up and running, it needs consistent TLC to be strong and healthy. You need to do your keyword research and get busy link building one way or the other to get your website ranked and traffic coming in. Start chatting in your niche related forums, get posting intelligent comments in blogs, start creating a buzz around your new website and probably the most important item is to constantly add fresh content to your website. Doing this takes time but it slowly starts adding up and you will see traffic coming to your website in Google Analytics and then before you know it sales will start coming in.
Going to the Next Level
Once your turnkey niche website has good traffic and your getting regular sales then there are really only a few things you need to do to take it to the next level:
1) Get More Traffic
2) Improve your conversion rate
3) Increase your product range
4) Keep adding content
You can use the money you are making from your turnkey niche website to plough it back into making all of the above happen.
Conclusion
Hopefully this gives you some idea of what you need to do to be successful with a turnkey niche website. Although it all seems a lot of hard work, it is actually fun (especially when your in a niche that you have interest in) and you will learn so many new skills that you can use to repeat additional websites. Remember, nothing happens without action and that’s the real “secret” – make sure you are busy doing the right things that matter. If you’re ready to get started then checkout our professionally designed turnkey niche websites and go for it!
How to setup a passive income niche website in 30 minutes or less.
June 16th, 2011
Have you ever thought or been thinking about starting a website to make extra money? One of the biggest lessons I've learned by creating websites for people is that most people just don't know where to start or are scared to death about all the technical part involved. So most people give up before they even start. Although we build turnkey niche websites for people to get started fast, I wanted to share how you can setup an internet marketing or niche website in 30 minutes or less.
Step 1: Choosing a Domain Name
Choosing the domain name or web address of your niche website should be considered first and based on the niche you are considering. The domain name should contain the keyword or keywords of your niche. For example, you have chosen Fishing as your niche, then you might pick something like FishingTipsAndTricks.com as your domain name. Once you have made your decision you will need to register your domain name using a registrar like Name.com or GoDaddy. Sometimes hosting providers will offer this service as well.
Step 2: Find a Hosting Provider
When it comes to finding a hosting provider for your passive income niche website, the options are almost endless. This is not a complicated task but it can be a tedious one weeding through all the choices out there. The best way to select a quality web host is to make sure they have competitive prices, WordPress support (preferably 1-click install so there are no technical skills needed) and great support. A few examples of those would be HostGator, BlueHost and DreamHost.
Step 3: Installing WordPress
WordPress is one of the easiest content management systems available and is supported with thousands of plugins to do just about anything. WordPress is fairly easy to install on any server that supports PHP 4.3 or higher and MySQL 4.0 or higher. However, having a 1-click install interface will make it dead simple. This way just about anyone can be up and running in just a few minutes. Depending on the hosting provider, just follow the steps provided by them and you should be able to install WordPress in about 5 minutes.
Step 4: Configuring Your Website
Now that you have WordPress installed, you will probably want to change the default look of your website. There are thousands of free and paid themes available for WordPress. You can do a search in Google for WordPress themes to find one that suits your needs. Once you find the theme you like, you will need to download the zip file.
Installing the Theme
To install any theme on WordPress is pretty simple. Log into your website's administrator panel and click the Appearance menu item on the left hand side.
On the next page, click the tab at the top labeled Install Themes. Then under that click the Upload link.
From here you can Browse to select the theme's zip file and click Install Now to upload and install it to your site.
If it's not already activated, under the Manage Themes tab make sure to activate it by clicking Activate.
Installing Plugins
Adding extra functionality or features to your website is simple too. Chances are a plugin has already been built that can do what you want.
Searching for and installing plugins is snap by clicking on Plugins -> Add New on the left hand side menu.
Here are a few plugins I recommend installing on any new niche website. Remember, the trick is to keep your niche website simple so try to keep the number of plugins installed to a small number. All of these are available through the WordPress plugin dashboard.
- All-In-One SEO
- Essential for SEO and easy to use.
- Contact Form 7
- The easiest way to add a contact form to your blog.
- TubePress
- Easily integrate YouTube Videos into your website.
- Google Analytics for WordPress
- Easily integrate your Google Analytics account into your new site
- Google XML Sitemaps
- This plugin generates a sitemap for your website and also updates it when changes are made.
- Quick Adsense
- Easily insert Google Adsense into pages and/or posts. Great for passive income.
Step 5: Create Your Content
Now that you have your website installed and configured, the last thing is to get it populated with content. Writing articles based on your niche keywords will help build search engine traffic over time. You will also need to populate it with affiliate programs and/or products related to your niche. Programs such as ClickBank, Amazon or individual affiliate programs can be used. It is recommended that you try to integrate the affiliate programs/products into your articles as well and you will be well on your way to producing passive income on your niche website.

The Power of Long Tail Keywords
December 3rd, 2010
If you haven't heard of the "long tail" phrase, it was made famous by a book written by Chris Anderson. The long tail refers to the statistical graph where the line is skewed to the right without ever reaching zero on the horizontal scale. Essentially, it's an infinite line.
In Anderson's book, he explains how the Internet is circumventing every aspect of consumer choice. Before the Internet, consumers didn't have much choice. We simply took what the media and retailers presented and gave up on our own "custom" desires.
Taking the book into account, lets look at how using long tail keywords and phrases applies to effective search engine rankings and placements.
Effective Use of Long Tail Keywords
Let's look at an example of what it means to use long tail keywords. If you're selling boots, an obvious keyword that you might want to target is "boots". Now, if you're a small boot seller, you probably won't have the time or money it would take to get in the top 10 search results for the term "boots".
But, let's say that you sell a highly specialized type of boot. Maybe you sell boots for people who have had leg, knee or foot injuries. Or, maybe you make custom boots for soldiers or cowboys. I know of several people who only buy custom boots so it's not unheard of.
Rather than trying to hit a highly competitive keyword like boots, you would want to go after a phrase like "custom cowboy boots" or "boots for foot injuries".
You might be thinking that there's not enough traffic for these terms to bring you any kind of sales. However that's exactly how the long tail process works. You don't want a lot of traffic from a single keyword phrase. You want a little traffic from a bunch of smaller, less searched keywords.
Let's say one of your keywords brings 100 website visitors per month. Let's also say that you have a great website, with great copy, and you're able to convert 5% of your visitors. So, five people will buy per 100 visitors.
Now, let's say you have 10 of those long tail keywords. Each one of those keywords brings in 100 visitors per month. So, now you have 1,000 visitors per month reaching your website. If we leave the same conversion rate, 5%, then these 10 keywords will net you 50 sales per month.
So, your goal as a long tail marketer is to snap up as much as the "little" traffic that you can get. You're not trying to compete with big-box retailers or websites. There's traffic that large websites don't get because they don't sell what people are looking for. That becomes your job.
There are people who are looking for all kinds of niche products and information. It's your job to look at what you have to offer and to think beyond the obvious keyword terms. There are hundreds, probably thousands, of keyword niches that very few people are competing for.
You can use this handy little free tool from Google to find long tail keywords as well as search stats: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
As you can see, combining effective use of long tail keyword phrases with a solid converting website can help you tap into previously untouched markets, unfilled needs, and diversify into thousands of niche areas. Not only do we offer many niche websites, they are easy to configure the long tail keywords of your choice.

Websites plays an important role in presenting your products among the people. It is an important way of promoting your products. There are various methods of building traffic to your website.

Make your website search engine optimized: Search engine optimization is one of the most significant ways to build traffic. 7 Ways To Drive Laser Targeted Traffic to Your Site
June 29th, 2009
Whether you’re an affiliate marketer, sell your own products and services, or MLM, there are certain internet marketing techniques that you can use to get more traffic to your site.
It’s not that internet marketing techniques that vary from industry to industry that make a difference, but how you apply them to marketing your business.
The most important element of internet marketing is to go where your customers are. Just as you wouldn’t promote gambling on a gardening site, don’t promote products and services, your own or someone else’s, or MLM where it’s not welcome.
What I’m saying is, don’t just throw your product up anywhere. That’s not targeted traffic. To get targeted traffic, you have to promote where others are looking for what you are offering. Targeted traffic is the key to higher website conversion and more sales.
Regardless of what you are promoting, these techniques will help you get more traffic to your site, and building site is crucial to your success no matter what industry you are in.
Here are seven techniques I use to get more traffic to my sites:
1. Search engines.
Search engines are the easiest way I know of to be found online because just about everyone uses the search engines. Although I don’t recommend that you rely solely on search engines as a way for potential customers to find you, you should at least get your site indexed. People can’t find you if you aren’t there.
2. Link exchanges.
Although linking isn’t as valuable as it once was, it’s still an effective way to promote your site. By contacting website owners who have websites that complement your own, and then exchanging links with them, you’ll build referral traffic because linking is still considered to be an endorsement of your site.
3. Affiliate programs.
An affiliate program is where you allow others to promote your website for a percentage of the profits of each sale. Although there are other ways to pay affiliates like per lead, pay per sale is the most common.
With an affiliate program, you give others an incentive for promoting your website, and this can also make it easier to get links back to your site.
4. Writing articles.
Of all the internet marketing techniques I’ve tried, I’ve found this one to be the most effective. I’m sure it has something to with the fact that I like to write, and maybe it’s easier for me.
What articles will do for you is help you build backlinks to your site, establish you as an expert, and offer more value to your business. You are offering your potential customers something up front.
If the thought of writing articles makes you cringe, try writing tip sheets, lists, or a how to. People love these types of articles because they’re so easy to read.
5. Joint ventures.
Done correctly, a joint venture can be your ticket to fast cash in your business. By seeking out others who have complementary websites, and offering them incentives to sell your products, you can quickly increase your bottom line.
6. List building.
Although list building isn’t an internet marketing technique per se, it is an important part of building your business. List building allows you to recycle your traffic, build relationships, and increase your conversion to make more sales.
7. Know your market.
By knowing your market, you’ll know what kind of products and services potential customers are looking for. Although it won’t help you raise visibility for your site, it will help you increase your conversions, and you can more easily get to know your market by visiting forums on your topic, posting polls on your site, and studying other sites on your topic.
The most important thing to remember is to show your potential customers respect. Don’t spam them with offers. Build a relationship, and you’ll build traffic and make more sales.
